REX iPhone App (version 2.4.0)
Description:
I've found an easy to reproduce crash that occurs with the REX app on either iPhone or iPad. This crash is occurring for me either in anonymous mode, or while being signed into my REX account.
There is a share option that appears after the user selects an arrow that is present in the upper right hand corner of the screen of select posts.
From this share option, the app will crash if the user selects the "More..." option.
This is easier to show than to describe, so please see the attached screenshots.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download the REX iPhone app (version 2.4.0) and launch it
2. Select "Explore"
3. Click inside the "Search people, posts & tags" input box
4. Select "POSTS"
5. Select any of the TRENDING posts
5. From one of the posts, select the arrow in the upper right hand corner
6. From the "Facebook/Text/Twitter/Email/More..." options, select "More..."
Result: The REX iOS app (version 2.4.0) will crash after the user selects the "More..." option on a share pop-up menu from selected posts
Expected: The REX iOS app should not crash after the user selects a "More..." option
Launch the REX app...
Select "Explore"
Click inside the "Search people, posts & tags" input box...
Select "POSTS" and then select one of the TRENDING posts below...
Select the arrow in the upper right...
Select the "More..." option

REX iPhone app - FILTER menu crash
Date: 07/25/2016
REX iPhone app (version 2.3.0)
Description:
I've been playing around with the new REX app on both an iPhone and an iPad.
Discovered a crash that reproduces on both. It's a pretty garden variety crash for the iOS.
It is easier to show than to describe, so please take a look at the attached screenshots.
I can get this to reproduce 100 percent of the time.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an a REX account, use the service
2. Launch the app while signed in
3. Select "Explore"
4. Click inside the "Search people, posts & tags" search box
5. Search for any term that brings back results (the term "Dan" for example)
6. Select "POSTS"
7. Select the filter option in upper left and the "Cancel" option in upper right simultaneously
8. (filter option dragged back onto another screen) select any option from the filter menu
Result: Easy way to crash the REX app by dragging a FILTER menu onto a previous screen
Expected: Shouldn't be able to drag the FILTER menu onto a screen where it doesn't belong - app shouldn't crash when you select something on this menu screen
Select the "Explore" option....
Click inside the "Search people, posts & tags" box...
Run a search for a term that brings back results.
Select the Filter and Cancel options at roughly the same time...
Filter menu is dragged to the previous home feed screen - selecting any option from this FILTER menu will crash the app

AmazonFresh iPhone App: Incorrect error message about bad password appears only once
Date: 04/06/2014
Amazon Fresh iPhone App (version 1.3.0)
My iPhone: An old school 16GB, 3GS
My iPhone’s firmware: 6.1
Description:
Believe it or not, I actually came across this during
regular use.
With the new AmazonFresh update for the iPhone (version
1.3.0) there doesn’t seem to be any notification that you’ve entered in an
incorrect password.
In fact, if you enter in an inaccurate password, you
actually receive a one time alert about having to “Re-enter Email” an email
address.
This is awfully frustrating, and I actually did encounter in
the normal use of the app.
This is awfully perplexing, and this isn’t something I’ve
seen happen with any other Amazon produced iPhone app. Please see the screenshots below for a better
explanation.
This bug is frustrating, because you’ll only see the alert
once (and it is inaccurate) and subsequent pushes of the “Sign In” button just
make the button change color.
Steps to reproduce:
1.
On an old iPhone running iOS 6.1, download the
AmazonFresh app (version 1.3.0)
2.
From the sign in screen, enter in your correct
email address
3.
Click in the Password box
4.
Enter in an incorrect password (I did my
usually, one accidental press of the spacebar after my password)
5.
Notice the error message: “Re-enter Email –
Information is not correct”
6.
For extra fun: Reconfirm your email address and
enter in another incorrect password – no error message at all!
Result: Incorrect
password entry results in a one time error message about having a bad email
address
Expected: A more
accurate error message (something about how either the users password or email
address is wrong)
Repro Rate: 3/3
Download the AmazonFresh iPhone App (version 1.3.0).
Launch the app.
This is the error message you'll get from a perfectly valid email address, but with a bad password message entered. Select OK and then enter in another bad password....
No more error messages. You just keep tapping the Sign In button over and over again.

Thumb iPhone App: Account creation using twitter crashes the app
Date: 03/18/2014
Thumb iPhone App: Version 4.0.2
My iPhone: An old school 16GB, 3GS
My iOS: 6.1
Description:
I’ve gotten this to reproduce seven times in seven
attempts. I’ve gotten this to reproduce
after rebooting my phone.
On my old iPhone, if I launch the Thumb iPhone app (version
4.0.2) and select “Sign Up with Twitter” the app will crash and send me back to
the home screen.
Using my same exact phone, I was able to select “Sign Up
with Facebook” and to use the email sign up process without having the app
crash.
Something looks to be wrong with the Twitter account
creation process – other people have mentioned this problem in reviews of the
app.
Please see the attached screenshots.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
Launch the Thumb iPhone app (version 4.0.2) on
an iPhone running iOS 6.1
2.
Select “Sign Up”
3.
Select “Sign Up with Twitter”
Result: Selecting the
“Sign Up with Twitter” option crashes the Thumb iPhone app
Expected: Selecting
the “Sign Up with Twitter” option should not crash the Thumb iPhone app
Please take a look at comment number fifteen above. The person writes that the app, "will not let me log in with my twitter account, it kicks me off the app." I am having the exact same problem...
Selecting the "Sign Up with Twitter" option crashes the app for me, 100 percent. The "Sign Up with Facebook" and the email sign up options work fine.

pretty common with a lot of iPhone apps.

myfab5 iPhone app: Stuck on "Loading..." after canceling out of Instagram login
Date: 11/24/2013
Myfab5 iPhone App: Version 1.4.5
My iPhone’s iOS: 6.1
Description:
This is a minor complaint, but cancelling out of the
Instagram login page seems to strand the user on an indefinite “Loading….”
Screen.
I’ve gotten this multiple times now, and I have noticed it
enough to write it down. I’ve gotten
this from two different areas of account creation from within the iOS app.
This is easier to show than to describe, so please see the
attached screenshots.
Steps to reproduce:
1.
On an iPhone running iOS 6.1 – download and
launch the Myfab5 iPhone app
2.
Select “Sign up”
3.
From the “Welcome to myfab5” screen select
“Signup”
4.
Select “Signup w/ Instagram”
5.
From the Instagram login page, select “Cancel”
6.
I keep getting stuck on “Loading…”
Result: Canceling out
of the Instagram account creation area keeps stranding me on a “Loading…”
screen
Expected: Canceling
out of the Instagram account creation screen shouldn’t strand me on a
“Loading…” screen
Please note: I can
continually tap on the screen, and it will occasionally take me to the email
sign up screen – but as an end user it appears as if it is broken to me.
Download the app, launch it, then select this "Signup" option....
Select the "Signup w/ Instagram" option...
Cancel out of the Instagram login...
Stuck on "Loading..."
